Benoit Leloup Joins THE BRIX Saigon as Executive Chef - Announces New Tasting and Inaugural Delivery Menu
After months of lockdown, Ho Chi Minh City is showing slow yet steady signs of recovery. As of the government’s latest announcement, restaurants are now allowed to open for delivery and takeaway and the industry is buzzing with excitement and energy.
In anticipation of this moment, many restaurants have spent the last few months pondering, planning and preparing themselves for the ‘new normal’ whether through introducing new menus, ideas or in THE BRIX’s case - new talent such as Benoit Leloup.
Michelin-trained Benoit Leloup brings with him a wealth of experience from France, China, Cambodia and of course, Vietnam. Before joining THE BRIX, Leloup has held the role of Executive Chef at leading 5-star establishments such as the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, Intercontinental Hotel Nha Trang and Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.
Inspired by his travels and constant discovery of new spices and seasoning, local products and culinary techniques in Asia, Leloup aims to inject creative yet skilful interpretations of ‘East meets West’ into his kitchen creations at THE BRIX as a nod to his French and Asian heritage. Ahead of reopening, Leloup has already announced a new tasting menu debuting new dishes as well as old favourites signalling the concept’s commitment to delivering uncompromising culinary experiences for its guests.
Commenting on his new appointment, Leloup mentioned ‘Good food and good service are integral parts of a restaurant and I constantly strive to provide my guests with valuable experiences. Having already been a loyal customer of THE BRIX, I jumped at the opportunity to join THE BRIX in its mission to improve and innovate its food experience.’

Besides the aforementioned tasting menu, Leloup has also been working on THE BRIX’s inaugural delivery menu as well as other exciting concepts in the pipeline.
