Tatler Vietnam launches ‘Best of Vietnam,’ highlighting top hotels, restaurants, and bars in the country

On January 18, 2025, the inaugural 'Best of Vietnam' launch event took place at Le Méridien Saigon Hotel, unveiling the top 100 hotels, 100 restaurants, and 100 bars across Vietnam.

This comprehensive list was meticulously curated by Tatler’s in-house team, in collaboration with a panel of industry experts, and serves as an insider’s guide to Vietnam's finest dining and hospitality experiences.

The 'Best of Vietnam' event is part of Tatler's broader initiative, Tatler Best, which has been a cornerstone in celebrating excellence in Asia's hospitality sector. Building upon the legacy of the Tatler Dining Guide—a culinary bible for food enthusiasts published annually for over four decades—Tatler Best aims to highlight exceptional establishments across the continent.

This is the first time this Asian-scale award has been present in Vietnam, affirming the remarkable development and influence of the domestic high-end service industry on the regional map. Tatler Best is famous for its transparent evaluation process, based on the criteria of leading Asian experts in the fields of tourism, cuisine and beverage preparation. The nominations not only reflect the standards of service quality but also lead new trends, meeting the needs and tastes of the most sophisticated customers.

The event was supported by esteemed sponsors, including Möet & Chandon champagne, Le Méridien Saigon hotel, S Florist flower brand, Socolatier chocolate brand, and À Si aromatherapy & more. Their involvement underscores the significance of this event in elevating Vietnam's hospitality industry on the regional stage.

After the nominations in the Vietnam region were revealed, Tatler Vietnam will continue to find elite service brands through rigorous criteria to be included in the Best in Class category in 3 areas: Hotels, Restaurants and Bars, specifically:

• 11 awards for Hotels

• 9 awards for Restaurants

• 7 awards for Bars

The selection process for Tatler Best Hotels, Restaurants and Bars is carried out by a prestigious panel from Tatler's extensive network in Asia. This panel includes regional teams, culinary editors, veteran critics, international journalists and experts in travel, food and beverage across Asia. For the restaurant and bar category, more than 400 prestigious judges participated in evaluating and nominating excellent locations in 12 regions across Asia.

In the hotel category, Tatler has established a panel of over 100 members, including management, editors, travel experts and influential figures in the Tatler community. This panel directly votes, ensuring that it truly reflects the trends and preferences of the most sought-after high-end customer group - Asia's affluent travelers. The final results honor the top 100 hotels, representing the pinnacle of luxury accommodation services.

Then, everyone will wait together at the Tatler Best of Asia 2025 event taking place in April 2025, where the industry giants will gather through the announcement ceremony of the most anticipated Top 100 list, along with the Best in Class award and many other exciting honors of the Asian hotel industry will be honoured in true Tatler style.
