They don’t call it the epic brunch for no reason. Nestled on the 23rd floor of Hotel des Arts Saigon – MGallery every Sunday is the “Epic Brunch”. As Saigon’s longest free-flow and all-you-can-eat brunch, there are four options for hungry diners (all prices are in VND):

  1. Culinary Brunch: 1,690,000++/ per guest, including premium food, soft drinks, coffee and tea

  2. Premium Brunch: 2,190,000++/ per guest, including food with free-flow of premium wines, selected spirits, special brunch cocktails, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea

  3. Grand Brunch: 2,990,000++/ per guest, including food with free-flow of Champagne, premium wines, selected spirits, special brunch cocktails, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea

  4. EPIC Brunch: 3,590,000++ /per guest, including food and free-flow Champagne, premium wines, selected spirits, special brunch cocktails, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea

From the finest French cheeses and charcuterie to the freshest seafood and salads, each cuisine has its own dedicated live station. There’s even an entire cheese and charcuterie room waiting to be explored with regional farm cheeses from the many different provinces of France. Though for most, the highlight is finding the chef stirring black truffle risotto in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano or sampling different roes (premium caviar and salmon roe) and oysters paired with Moet & Chandon Champagne as part of its ‘Champagne and Roe’ campaign running till the end of September.

With such variety to please every palate, Executive Chef Ivan Barone is also sure to procure the finest ingredients:

All our food is sourced from the highest quality suppliers, which our receiver team checks to ensure quality (…) we have Fine de Claire oysters from France, fresh lobsters, sea snails and crab from Vietnam

Not content to settle for just a good brunch, Barone is a firm believer in diners’ experience (prioritises experience above all else) and introduces a bi-monthly ‘foodie theme’ spanning anything and everything from ‘Oysters’ to ‘Roe and Champagne’ (this month’s theme). This typifies Barone’s innovation and willingness to go the extra mile to serve guests and give them an experience to remember, long after diners have finished eating.

As the fourth generation of a family of chefs hailing from Southern Italy, generosity with food is central to Barone’s brunch concept. So, expect more than lavish buffet spreads here as you feast on a la carte specials including the ever-trendy miso black cod (I highly recommend).

And when you’re done and nursing a food coma, why not sit back in one of Social Club’s many comfy sofas and enjoy stunning views of the city while sipping on a cocktail (or mocktail)? Or, if you’re feeling up for it, join the live DJ on the dancefloor and get your boogie in. If you’re a 90’s baby like me you’ll definitely find yourself singing to many fun and familiar tunes.

For ‘EPIC Brunch’ guests, make sure to pop upstairs post-brunch to enjoy free-flow drinks, canapes and of course, not-to-be-missed sunset views of Saigon. Best part? Everything’s included in the package. No surprise why they call it the EPIC brunch.

So if you’re looking for all-you-can-eat fresh seafood on ice, grilled meats or just a free-flowing booze parade with a live DJ to celebrate an epic milestore, the Social Club’s Epic Brunch has got you covered.
